Collage: Lost in Translation
In this collage, I wanted to highlight the passage of time and circumstance in terms of translation. In the bottom left corner, a woman wearing victorian clothing is enjoying a novel and in the bottom right corner, Rory Gilmore (from the hit show “Gilmore Girls”) is “meant” to be reading that same book. Different times, different purposes for reading, different experiences. All underscored by the classic red pen of an editor.
